We'll be 7 billion humans by 2011


It is estimated according to the latest study by the Population Reference Bureau that we globally within two years seven billion inhabitants. But the curious thing about this is that growth will be in greater proportion in poor countries and developing countries.

In the most recent study released by the agencies reveals that over the next 40 years is projected to increase in the population, 97% of which is estimated to be produced in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Population Reference Bureau, a body created in 1929 to make projections.

It is said that the increase from six to seven billion will take a dozen years, as happened with the passage of five thousand to six billion, which occurred in 1999. Both events are unprecedented in history.

United States and Canada are nations that are experiencing a larger increase in the population, both by immigration and by the natural population growth since birth and is now outnumber deaths.

Carl Haub coauthor of the report states that "About 90% of the 2.3 billion young people in the world are in developing countries, as well as eight out of ten of these young people live in Africa and Asia.

The report attributes the high birth rate and the large number of young people the greatest population growth in developing countries, especially in Africa where women have six or seven children throughout their fertile life.

According to the study population, it is expected that by 2050 Uganda, spent 34 million to 96 million, nearly triple the current population.

Also by 2050 India will reach 1.7 billion people, overtaking China, with 1.4 billion and become the most populous nation.

And in United States, with 439 million, ranks third in population density worldwide.
