Netbooks to incorporate any version of Windows 7

The restrictions imposed by Microsoft Netbooks manufacturers would seem to be forgotten with the arrival of Windows 7.

Of course because a company spokesman noted that now the manufacturers of these computers can install any version of Windows 7 on them, without any limitations whatsoever. A measure that will be very well received by manufacturers and by users and seeks to counter the growing use of Linux based Operating Systems and the entry of equipment ARM processors.

While this is an excellent measure which we all applauded, in practice we do not know the impact it will have because you do not know the performance you would have a Netbook, and those that are currently marketed with Windows 7 Ultimate and all its graphic paraphernalia enabled (Aero). Another issue that must be considered is the price they might achieve these computers running versions of Windows 7 whose license necessarily raise its market price, so they may no longer be competitive.

At the end have to be Netbooks manufacturers who must see benefit from this measure, which clearly pointed in the right direction.

Apple feeds the rumors about the iTablet

Comparison between the iPhone's screen and the iTablet

The rumor that Apple would soon be launching an iTablet follow the agenda, especially now that we know that the company would have re-signed Michael Tchao, one of the developers of what is now considered one of the devices precursors PDAs: the Newton.

Tchao his position in the company will be the President of Product Marketing, depending directly from Phil Schiller, Apple Senior Vice President and who would polish the shoes of Steve Jobs.

But reports about the iTablet not end there, because a site published some of the features that would have this new device:

* It should have a 10.7 inch screen
* Use the same operating system as the current iPhone, as if design
* I would go in two models: With 3G connectivity and without it
* It would be five times higher resolution than the iPhone (there is talk of 720p)
* Released: January 19, 2010

Clearly this team would not enter into competition with the Netbooks, it would be thought of as a multimedia player with communication skills (it may be possible to use it as eBooks)

Cyborg-insects remote control are now a reality

Some time ago we spoke of DelFly Micro, a "robot" miniature camera and image recognition software, very useful in search and rescue situations but was unlikely to flight stability in real situations (weather, air currents, etc.). So while nanotech takes care of that, creating an army of cyborg insects just one step closer to reality thanks to researchers at the University of California.

The research team led by electrical engineer Hirotaka Sato, recently announced that they have successfully implanted electrodes in a beetle way that allows scientists to control the movements of insect flight.

This system mounted on the dorsal prothorax is nerve stimulators, muscle stimulators, a micro-controller for transmission and reception of radio and a micro-battery.

The DARPA-supported research is part of a broader effort known as the HI-MEMS program, which has been specifically looking for different approaches to the implementation of micro-mechanical systems into insects to control their movements.

A number of research teams are working on this ambitious project by reporting tangible successes. For example, researchers at the University of Michigan have shown the implants in a butterfly flight, but Berkeley scientists seem to have shown an impressive degree of control over the flight of insects, have recently reported that are capable of using an implant for stimulation of nerves in the brain of the beetle to start, stop and control insects in flight.

BIKE yike Say Goodbye to fuel problems, traffic and parking

BIKE yike not just a bike mostly, if not a revolutionary new electric bike, a new alternative transportation you will love.

Imagine! Will not have to pay more for petrol or public transport will not lose much time in traffic or looking for parking or other problems that come from having a car. All this thanks to yike BIKE that is lightweight, very small and it is best to plant.

This vehicle invented by Ryan Grant and engineer Peter Higgins is expected for 2010 has a 1.2kW electric motor, weighs just 10kg and that is made from carbon fiber and as a folding bike can be stored in an area of 15 × 60 × 60 cm.

This new innovation benefits both the person who acquires it as the environment and that by not using non-polluting fuel as a car does.

The environment is being seriously damaged by ourselves for our excessive consumption of fuel, so it's time we start to act and take measures to assist and benefit the environment and this is an excellent idea.

Mystery of UFOs on Google Solve

No one in the Googleplex celebrate anything in the future, is not an advertisement for super servers in space or logos designers that went crazy.

The mystery of UFOs on the logos of Google was resolved today when the boys finally Palo Alto deigned to respond to the issue of flying saucers with the emergence of a third object flying in the home page, following those who showed themselves on 5 and 15 September last.

After many wild conjectures, the truth is that this is a tribute to HG Wells, author of "War of the Worlds," was born on September 21, 1866.

"We wanted to celebrate H.G. Wells as an author who drove fantastic thinking about what is possible on this planet and beyond, "said Google in its official blog.

MySpace and Twitter are synchronized with each other

http://www.dorktower.com/images/comics/DorkTower723.gif
MySpace in an attempt to modernize itself and not losing users for Facebook, has decided to integrate its services with Twitter updates. In this way all on MySpace status updates can be sent to Twitter and in the same way Twitter updates are sent to MySpace.

This type of features as we have seen between Twitter and Facebook and for me it was a matter of time before MySpace did, in the end it has been but still lacks a long way before he missed.

How to tell your kids that you have a new partner and you're in love

Who has not felt a tickle in the tummy the day he was to introduce the groom to their parents? Who is not filled with recommendations to his partner the first time I joined out of Saturday with her friends and boyfriends? Years pass and yet show our affections the person we've chosen to share life remains a source of stress. We accept it, they like to adopt it. Now what happens when, over the person you have to cross with our new boyfriend is a child?
Gabriela W. was separated for three long years. Her children were accustomed to this new reality, one might even say that they enjoyed having two houses where they did the impossible to "not suffer the divorce of their parents." So far, a great or at least well-off.
But one day, Gabriela began dating a man, and after five months of being in secret, decided to whitewash the situation with his family. Although he needed time to discuss how to raise it, it was not because her new boyfriend wanted to take that weekend to the beach. Just counted, then, with four days to talk to their kids and her ex, who should be in charge while she was leaving "mini honeymoon".
In desperation, convoked a summit of friends to help her think about how best to raise her new emotional state. Here are some of the advice he received:
- Be sure the relationship you are living is important enough to become public. It is best not to subject the children to the vagaries of love from adults.
- It is your ex finds out for you in your new relationship, and they are not kids who will go with the gossip. It is best to drink coffee and talk alone what he has to talk. Even the way when you're organized.
- At no time your kids have to believe they're asking permission to rebuild your life. You're just sharing the joy of starting over.
- Call to relations with the name that you have. No more "Mommy has a friend." If you're a bride, you have to encourage you to call it that.
- Do not force the relationship of this new person with the rest of your family. The ideal is to be aware of and little neutral ground: the farther from home, the better.
- Be cautious with demonstrations of affection with your new boyfriend. And he is also measured at their shows with your children. Everything has its time.
What other elements must be considered when formalizing a relationship when we have children?

They create computer sodium acetate

Sodium acetate is a compound that is used for many things. In the food industry is used to accentuate the flavor and preservative. In textiles, to neutralize the sulfuric acid and, last but not least, to make those portable hand warmers. Do you know what? Are these gel packs with a metal disk inside that if you twist causes the solidification of the bag and release heat?

Well, there's an application that until now nobody had thought and is building computers. As I read, Andrew Adamatzky of the University of the West of England made a computer based on sodium acetate.

Sony will join the three-dimensional battle next year

3D monitors and televisions and there are several, but the mass application of this technology depends on large firms to join that ordinary consumers can buy one of these systems, and this would be possible from next year, as Sony has announced at IFA 2009 that launched the series BRAVIA televisions dimensional.

But that's not all. Sony plans to launch a series of gadgets compatible with three-dimensional display of images, such as Blu-ray, consoles (Did someone say PS3?) And even notebooks. Thereby create a new family of devices capable of providing more complete user experience and distribution channels that reach the main countries of the world.

Disney bought Marvel!

Become the main news of the day and probably the weeks and months ahead I tell them that The Walt Disney Company has taken control of Marvel, which means that the company achieved growth eared mouse brutal way to a world in which they were unrelated. The purchase, for about 4 billion dollars and reported in the Disney.com site and Marvel.com will allow the Disney Empire (no other way to call it) to completely control the fantastic cartoons company, which means not only be in charge of its publishing arm, but also of its film industry and video game industry, as well as possession of about 5 thousand characters marvelis. Disney respect the agreements previously signed by Marvel and other companies, but sooner or later begin to see some developments regarding the dissemination of company products. Furthermore, the development possibilities are raised to the tenth power considering that Marvel can begin to work with Pixar (another company of the Disney conglomerate) in the development of new film projects.

This is a spectacular and mega purchase actually result in an expansion of Disney's business to areas previously little explored. According to the report, the company of Mickey begin to develop various projects involving those 5 thousand characters acquired in addition to the important dissemination of their television series to be conducted through the cable channel DisneyXD. Moreover Pixar, now Marvel's sister company, you may begin work with the company in developing new projects, which immediately raises the question of visual surprise that we get to see in future and expected new movies superheroes such as X-Men Origins: Magneto, The First Avenger: Captain America and Spider-Man 4. It is said that the same John Lasseter, producer and creative director of Pixar, has already met with executives at Marvel to assess G-employment opportunities and was very happy after their first meetings.

Although Disney has said it will maintain independence in the operation of Marvel, will surely seek to develop new marketing channels that they can achieve important to get a slice of the profits from future films comiquero company, independent of who have previously signed agreements with third companies. Undoubtedly, this is a very important news that will develop and showcase new edges with the passing days.
