Ultra Radical: The transport system at Heathrow Airport

The idea of traveling in small vehicles or automatic podcars is not new, and we have seen the project in United Arab Emirates. However, it is interesting that the Heathrow airport in London with one of these systems.

The construction, implementation and system design Ultra PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) has not been completed and now two of his cars are on display at the Science Museum of London, as part of its centenary celebrations and so prior to its implementation.

The idea is that these little boxes that have the capacity to about 4 or 5 passengers and travel about 40 km / h, are the basic means of transportation in the airport terminal 5 creased initially and then from the parking lots around the airport, which also serve as an experiment to see its feasibility to be extended to certain areas of the city.
